Belay device SPARROW 200R

Belay device autofrenante for vertical work, the evolution of the belay device SPARROW 200, developed for high loads of work. Allows the operator to descend by the rope work, position themselves at the point of intervention and re-ascend by the same. Ideal in the case of lift-assisted two people with a device installed on the anchor point (the operator hangs up the rescuer with the victim) or, in the case of decrease simultaneous of two people (the rescuer down to the victim).

Fields of application:

• Descent device and the rescue en 341:2011-2A, maximum working load 200 kg, maximum height of descent 180 m, for use with rope TEC-STATIC PRO – Ø 11 mm;
• Device of regulation of rope / belay device IN 12841:2006-C, maximum working load of 210 kg, for use with ropes en 1891 type A – Ø 11 mm

Main features:

• fitted with a device of friction of the rope retractable that allows you to create a friction on the rope during the descent, without the use of an additional connector. The design of the device of friction has been improved to get a grip on the rope even more effective;
• control lever multifunctional system with automatic return that allows the operator to descend at the controlled speed and position themselves at the point of intervention without locking keys;
• security system EBS (Extraordinary Braking System) that is activated when the lever is pulled all the way down accidentally, to decrease the rate of decline instead of increase;
• equipped with safety lever on the sliding plate that facilitates installation of the rope in the step of the stripe.
